Final Project topic

My final project documentary will be an informative type of documentary about what it is like to be a "street skateboarder" in Tokyo, Japan.  I have 2 of many subjects that I have asked committed as of now.  I basically want to show why we skateboard, why at places in cities/towns and not at parks all of the time as well as what kind of situations are faced on a day-by-day basis.

OK

Looks like the link for my interview is still having problems after so many times of trying to fix it.

I will get it fixed today.

Edit: the link is fixed.

Excercise #2 part #3

This is the interview/conversation at Yoyogi Koen for Intro to Documentaries class.  I talked with a skateboarder about Yoyogi Koen about what keeps him coming back, although he is not a consistent regular to the area.

I have to admit, the conversation was slightly awkward, but turned out O.K.

Yoyogi Koen day 2

On my second day of observing Yoyogi Koen I noticed some skateboarders at the entrance, which I find interesting because I've heard a lot of people go there to skate but from what I saw, it isn't really the greatest place to go. I assume that it must be a relaxing place to go to mess around and talk to some friends. All around the park area you can see this. The park has somewhat of a different feel from the city aspect of Tokyo, which is just outside the gates. You don't see much, if any, grass throughout Tokyo...not to mention wide open space.

Yoyogi Koen day 1

For my area of observation I chose to go to Yoyogi Koen. It's somewhat of a cliche area tO choose, but I since I've been in Japan for over a year and never been, I figured I would check it out. Yoyogi park is an interesting area because there are many different types of people there from young to old, people passing through, as well as people playing sports and exercising. I also noticed some things out of the norm (maybe) such as two high school girls talking to a foreigner who was clearly a lot older than them, which is kind of funny to me.
